Bright Future teams,

Enactus and Unilever have been truly inspired by the work you’ve done through the Bright Future Project Partnership this year. In just a few months, you have directly empowered over 8,000 low-income individuals by providing them with the knowledge, skills and resources to live a healthy eating lifestyle.

Mobile markets were created to bring affordable, fresh produce to people living in food desserts. Cooking classes were conducted to teach families how to cook on a budget. Job preparedness sessions were implemented to empower unemployed individuals to enter the workforce. The positive ripple effect of your actions has indirectly impacted an additional 25,000 people, ranging from children in households with improved food security to families with increased access to farmers’ markets.
